This illusionary spectacle is unlike any school assembly program you’ve ever seen

Students of all grades will join in on a special read-a-thon challenge from Magic in the Library and will earn points to reach the top of the ladder!

What do students need to do to participate?

Students will read enough books as part of a read-a-thon to be eligible to see their school principal disappear.

What "read-a-thon" program do you use?

It's up to you. some schools can use their own selection of books on a list, or you can use a program such as Accelerated Reader. We also have our own book list if you'd rather use ours. Regardless of which books you use or how you quantify the success rate of student reading skills, the point is that this project will get noses into books like never before.

What does the Vanishing Principal trick look like?

It's very similar to what you saw in the video. It takes place on your school auditorium stage, gymnasium floor, cafeteria space, or other indoor open space.

Yes. Unless you want them to be whisked away from stage to vacation or something.

What are the physical requirements of the project?

Your school principal needs to be able to walk briskly and be able to stand up on a small platform and do some other moderate physical movement to accomplish the illusion. They also need to be able to keep a secret!

Which school principal should do the trick?

It's up to you. Some schools might instead use an assistant principal, a teacher, etc.
