Bring the Magic to your doorstep!

Enjoy the small-but-mighty showcase of our mobile, on-location magic show program!

Our on-location version of Magic in the Library can fit in most school auditoriums, gymnasiums or civic library meeting spaces. It's perfect for PTO/PTA nights, summer reading programs, mid-year rallies and more!

Just like our full-size theatrical version of the same magic show program, the On-Location version is packed full of amazing magic tricks, humor, and storytelling all used to teach key points of language arts skills.

One Big Day, Multiple Magical Adventures!

Once the magic show program is set up in your school, library, or other venue, we're good to go for more than one "showtime." Most of the time the On-Location version of Magic in the Library is booked as a "day rate" so the program can be repeated during the day. This is especially helpful for elementary school groups with multiple grade levels in attendance.

We recommend splitting the day up across at least two programs: one for kindergarten through second grade, and another for third grade through sixth grade. Topics vary based on the audience age. The educational topics of Magic in the Library are listed below. See below for more information.

Educational Entertainment:
Magic That Teaches!

Magic in the Library is so much more than a magic show. It's a creative production that instructs students with practical knowledge for the classroom. Depending on the age group, our programs discuss the following:

Junior Version

Kindergarten - Second Grade

Runtime: 35-40 minutes

  • How to use books to discover facts for research and learning

  • Why and how one can cultivate a love of reading

  • Fiction versus nonfiction

  • Major and minor literary genres

Standard Version

Third Grade - Sixth Grade

Runtime: 50 minutes

  • Includes everything from the above list plus the following:

  • Literary mediums such as books, newspapers, online passages, etc.

  • How to slow down and soak in passages for better reading comprehension ability

  • How to break down lengthy passages on state exams

  • How to write a one-page paper

Can I do one magic show program for all grades and age groups, K-6?

Yes, but we don't recommend it. Since the content of the Standard Version is more advanced than that of the Junior Version, it can be quite overwhelming to younger viewers.

Designed to Fit in Your Space

The On-Location version of Magic in the Library is designed to play in virtually any open, indoor space. From auditoriums to library meeting spaces to school gymnasiums, Magic in the Library is adaptable to most spaces where there is a "stage area" of at least ten feet wide and six feet deep.

About the Magic

Magic in the Library showcases classical style magic illusions with colorful boxes, silk handkerchiefs, metal rings, and a host of other conventional magic apparatus. Each magic trick is used as a teaching mechanism or as an "attention-getter"to help drive educational points home in a unique way. The magic is topped with humor, storytelling, costuming and backed by a bold musical score.

What's the Price?

Pricing varies by a number of details including the the date, time and location of the event, as well as how many children will be in attendance. As a general ballpark figure, pricing starts at $495 - $1200.

If funding is an issue please don't give up! As an educational operation, Magic in the Library prides itself on making programs available to schools, libraries, and other groups that may not be able to afford the presentation. Please visit our funding page for a few ideas on how to make the program a little less expensive.
